Previous Winners of the Phuket International Rugby 10's

We are now into our 14th year of the Phuket International Rugby 10's. From humble beginnings in 1999 where the inaugural tournament had 6 teams playing over one day we are now one of the premier rugby 10's tournaments in the region with 20 teams vying for championship honors and 12 teams for the coveted Coffin Dodgers vets trophy. The tournament is now held over 3 days and we have introduced a youth division to highlight the wealth of talent in Phuket and the region.

It is now as important to win the annual Tour Virgin Beauty Pageant  as it is to win the Cup & this will no doubt be keenly contested on Saturday night.

For the last two years the Phuket International Rugby 10's tournament has been sponsored by Heineken who have shown over the years that grass roots rugby is just as important to them as professional rugby. Keep up the good work guys !!

During the last 13 years we have had teams from around the world competing and winning the trophy & the standard continues to improve with each passing year which reflects the continued health of the sport as well the importance of Phuket becoming an International rugby destination

The Phuket 10's also has a serious side to it by raising money for disadvantaged children in the form of a scholarship fund in conjunction with the Asia Center Foundation www.asiacenterfoundation.org. Over the years teams and individuals generosity contributing to the program and have kept upto a 100 children in school. This is the 10th Anniverary of the Asia Center Foundation and we are looking to break records this year.
