Legends of the Phuket 10's

 Legends of the Phuket 10's

Arvind David

Arvind David- Phuket 10's Legend
Arvind David. Arv discovered Phuket whilst touring with one of the first teams to ever visit Phuket on a rugby tour , The Singapore Bucks.

He has never been the same since and misses the place so much he has cajoled, persuaded, pleaded and threw the odd tantrum to make sure that the Moorabbin Rams have been a feature of the Phuket 10's over the last 13 years.

What can you say about Arv? He is the man every club wishes they had. A man who knows how to get things done. He is the current Patron of the Moorabbin Rugby Club. Two years ago he was made a life member of the club after two decades of service. He has won numerous 1st grade premierships and still plays when those bloody work commitments dont get in the way.
In between he also manages to devote most of his time to his family. Raising three children with wife Charmaine. What can be said i asked? Arv is a man who lights up a room. He is an all round good bloke and when it comes to rugby he is a man id rather play with than against.
He will always be remembered at the Phuket 10's for recruiting an elephant to be a RAM !

                               Paul (Gazza) Gascoigne

Gazza
When the name Gaz is mentioned at Moorabbin people sit up and listen. He is the current President of the club but it is his past that gives this man the title LEGEND.

It is hard to know just how many games Gaz has played for the club but the estimate is around the 600 plus mark. He has played in most of Moorabbin's premierships and was a part of the record breaking 6 in 86 team. (premiers 1981 to 1986)

He also represented Victoria for many years and is highly regarded in Victorian Rugby circles. So much so he awards the Paul Gascoigne medal to the best player in the grand final every year. A fitting award for such a legendary and well respected man.

There was a rumour that he played football for England in his spare time where he dazzled. But it WAS just a rumour
