It looks like we will be playing the tournament in weather conditions more similar to European rugby than rugby in the tropics. Storms forecast for the weekend so it will be a muddy affair.

Ground preparation under way today. The refs will have a hard time as the lines will be obliterated after the first days play :-). Its going to be fun fun FUN

 Welcome Parties

The social side of the tournament kicks off today with the first of the welcome parties at the Aussie Bar tonight for the Coffin Dodgers Vets comp kicking off at 20.30 hrs.

The main competition welcome party tomorrow night is also at the Aussie Bar again kicking off at 20.30 hrs

Tour Virgin Beauty Pageant

Tthe highlight of the weekends social activities being the Tour Virgin Beauty Pageant on Saturday night at the Taipan starting at 20.30 hrs. It has now become as important to win this prestigious event as it is to win the main competition and no doubt the teams will have the lucky candidates dressed in all their finery for this highly anticipated bitch fight.

We have been asked by many people why the change of venue please let them know that its because of the Thai National Youth Games being rearranged from march to May 26th so no municipal grounds are available. It will take around 30 minutes from Patong to the ground so make sure you give yourselves enough time.
